Associate Director – Supply Chain Data Science

📋 Description

• Spearhead the creation and implementation of advanced analytics, AI/ML, GenAI, and digital solutions aimed at transforming Global Supply Chain operations and ensuring the dependable delivery of essential medicines to patients globally.

• Design and implement AI, GenAI, Agentic, and advanced analytics solutions that enhance end-to-end Supply Chain operations.

• Drive the development of scalable digital products, analytical applications, and automation features utilizing extensive and complex datasets.

• Assist in establishing and scaling a Global Supply Chain Digital capability team in India, encompassing organizational design, operating model formulation, governance, and delivery processes.

• Provide leadership and guidance for worldwide teams of data scientists and digital developers across both onshore and offshore settings.

• Collaborate with business leaders, IT, and data engineering teams to deliver robust, scalable, and business-aligned analytics solutions.

• Create impactful visualizations and executive-level insights that facilitate strategic decision-making and operational transformation.

• Investigate and apply emerging technologies and modern data science methodologies to enhance organizational capabilities.

• Lead productivity analytics initiatives and develop KPIs and performance metrics that promote operational excellence throughout the global supply chain.

• Mentor and cultivate Digital/Data Science personnel while promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and ongoing improvement.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in people leadership and organizational management.

• Proven track record in building and scaling global or offshore technical teams.

• Background in developing scalable data science applications within manufacturing or supply chain operations.

• Strong knowledge of AI/ML, GenAI, advanced analytics, and digital product development.

• Proficiency in Python and SQL.

• Experienced in working with large, complex datasets and contemporary data architecture.

• Familiarity with Agile teams to deliver digital products.

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Spotfire and Matplotlib.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
