Associate Director, Social Media Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the development of social strategies and content plans.

• Ensure the provision of high-quality feedback, strategic consulting, and effective social media management.

• Guide clients and internal teams on social media strategies and related issues.

• Offer expertise in platform capabilities, specifications, and functionalities.

• Innovate new methods, ideas, and services to enhance the agency's social media and strategy offerings.

• Lead teams in social listening initiatives.

• Support omnichannel and engagement strategy projects.

• Advise clients and teams on best practices for social media execution.

• Provide insights on organic and paid content across major social platforms.

• Stay updated on digital marketing trends and technological advancements.

• Foster departmental growth.

• Report directly to the Senior Vice President of Social & Linguistics Strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in the health, biotech, or pharmaceuticals sectors.

• Proven expertise in developing and presenting strategic social media plans across a variety of platforms, including Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest.

• Strong knowledge of both organic and paid content strategies.

• Demonstrated success in expanding social media business with current clients and contributing to new business pitches.

• Experience in mentoring junior team members.

• Comprehensive understanding of FDA and FTC regulations pertaining to social media in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries.

• Client service experience within an agency environment, collaborating with integrated teams.

• Proficiency in social monitoring and measurement tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, marketing, or communications.
