• Create comprehensive social and content strategies that span organic, paid, owned, earned, and creator channels, establishing content ecosystems and channel strategies that connect at the portfolio level while excelling at the platform level.
• Develop creative briefs and social strategies that present creative teams with authentic challenges, articulating the strategic problem with clarity, a distinct perspective, and practical constraints.
• Design content frameworks, platform strategies, and continuous programming architectures that convert brand positioning into scalable, cross-channel initiatives.
• Establish and oversee social listening programs, frameworks for spotting cultural trends, and audience intelligence outputs rooted in behavioral and cultural data that guide strategic choices.
• Engage in digital strategy discussions that extend beyond social media, including digital OOH, display, and digital performance media, possessing enough expertise to influence channel roles and creative requirements.
• Deeply understand each client's business and competitive landscape, acquiring a solid grasp of category dynamics, commercial pressures, and brand context that links business goals directly to social and content strategy decisions.
• Work collaboratively with media strategists, communications planners, brand strategists, and creative teams to ensure that content and cultural strategies are authentically integrated into full-funnel thinking.
• Supervise daily client interactions, fostering trust with mid-to-senior stakeholders through the quality and reliability of your strategic contributions.
• Guide junior and mid-level strategists by providing constructive feedback on their work and creating an environment conducive to their professional growth. You focus on developing talent rather than managing headcount.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in social and content strategy developed within agency settings, demonstrating a history of rigorous, deadline-oriented work across brand-led campaigns and ongoing programs.
• In-depth understanding of how modern social platforms operate, including aspects like algorithmic distribution, paid amplification techniques, creator ecosystems, commerce integrations, and the impact of AI on content visibility and discovery.
• Proficient in brief-writing. Your briefs establish beneficial constraints, present a clear perspective, and pose worthwhile challenges for creative teams to tackle.
• Experience in creating audience intelligence that yields tangible results: culturally relevant personas, trend analyses that inform decisions, and social listening conducted with sufficient rigor to influence strategy.
• Familiarity with digital strategy beyond social media, including digital OOH, display, and performance media—adequate to contribute effectively to integrated channel planning discussions.
• Clarity in communication to confidently present strategic work, maintain a strong viewpoint under pressure, and build trust with senior clients and cross-functional partners.
