Associate Director – Small Business Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement a comprehensive small business strategy that aligns with Raytheon’s growth, compliance, and customer engagement objectives.

• Spearhead initiatives to identify, qualify, and engage small businesses across diverse categories and technology sectors.

• Collaborate with programs, supply chain, and capture teams to design small business strategies for proposals, pursuits, and contract execution.

• Ensure adherence to all FAR, DFARS, and other federal agency contractual small business mandates, encompassing reporting, recordkeeping, and subcontracting plans.

• Lead and mentor a team of small business program professionals, offering guidance, coaching, and opportunities for performance development.

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with vendors, agencies, and advocacy groups to further Raytheon’s small business initiatives.

• Create and present executive-level briefings, reports, and performance metrics concerning small business participation and compliance.

• Advocate for small business program policies, procedures, and best practices throughout the organization.

• Assist in supplier optimization by identifying high-value small business partners and promoting a balanced supplier portfolio.

• Utilize internal systems and tools to guarantee efficient and accurate reporting and data management for small business compliance and utilization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A University Degree or equivalent experience along with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience.

• At least 10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, contracts, government compliance, or small business program management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position.

• Familiarity with federal small business requirements, FAR/DFARS regulations, and government subcontracting processes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain management or compliance systems.

• U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
