Associate Director, Scheduler Lead – Data Center Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within a cohesive planning, cost, and risk framework for the project.

• Ensure adherence to the established planning and scheduling methodologies while creating the project schedule.

• Establish Project Milestone and Progress tracking baselines.

• Evaluate subcontractor adherence to the prescribed scheduling methodologies.

• Conduct analysis of scheduling data to identify trends, challenges, and areas needing attention.

• Engage and communicate effectively with both internal and external clients regarding the project schedule.

• Play a role in coaching and mentoring the planning team.

• Oversee schedule reporting, including updates on schedule forecasts and contingency management for specific work packages.

• Assess resource requirements and their impact on the schedule, and propose recovery strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related construction field.

• A graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering is preferred.

• At least 8 years of pertinent experience in a scheduling position within the construction industry.

• Proven experience in complex, fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments that necessitate proactive coordination for project/program success.

• Hands-on experience with network planning structures and techniques, proficient in Primavera Project Planner 6.0 or later, and Microsoft Project.

• Exhibits exceptional presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.
