This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
β’ Collaborate within a cohesive planning, cost, and risk framework for the project.
β’ Ensure adherence to the established planning and scheduling methodologies while creating the project schedule.
β’ Establish Project Milestone and Progress tracking baselines.
β’ Evaluate subcontractor adherence to the prescribed scheduling methodologies.
β’ Conduct analysis of scheduling data to identify trends, challenges, and areas needing attention.
β’ Engage and communicate effectively with both internal and external clients regarding the project schedule.
β’ Play a role in coaching and mentoring the planning team.
β’ Oversee schedule reporting, including updates on schedule forecasts and contingency management for specific work packages.
β’ Assess resource requirements and their impact on the schedule, and propose recovery strategies.
β’ Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related construction field.
β’ A graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering is preferred.
β’ At least 8 years of pertinent experience in a scheduling position within the construction industry.
β’ Proven experience in complex, fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments that necessitate proactive coordination for project/program success.
β’ Hands-on experience with network planning structures and techniques, proficient in Primavera Project Planner 6.0 or later, and Microsoft Project.
β’ Exhibits exceptional presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.
