This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Create and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test summaries that encompass functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

• Partner with developers, product managers, and business analysts to grasp requirements and pinpoint test scenarios.

• Design, create, and sustain automated test suites for continuous integration and deployment processes.

• Conduct manual testing for web-based and API-based applications, addressing complex scenarios and edge cases.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, document, and monitor defects and discrepancies until resolution.

• Create and manage SQL queries for data validation and verification purposes.

• Offer technical support and insights on QA processes, tools, and methodologies.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating relevant knowledge into QA practices.

• Leverage AI to enhance the speed of test case development and maintenance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in comprehensive software testing activities.

• Profound understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

• Technical expertise in Java, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, and Python.

• Extensive SQL knowledge for data manipulation, querying, and validation.

• Proficient in using Postman and RestAssured for API testing.

• Familiarity with command-line tools in the Linux operating system.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

• Experience in supporting testing strategy activities across multiple applications and systems.

• Ability to proactively address issues and escalate them as necessary.

• Experience in testing web-based and API-based systems for user experience concerns.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

• Proficiency in AI tools and Agentic AI/GenAI assistants for test design, automation, defect analysis, root-cause investigation, and quality engineering productivity.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Must have the right to work indefinitely within the USA.

• Preferred experience with Index/Benchmarks, Asset Management, or Portfolio Investment modeling.

• Preferred experience with Equity, Commodity, Forex, or Options market data asset classes.
