This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee College Board responses to proposals from districts and higher education institutions concerning all programs and services.
• Assist the Director of Proposal Management with state-level RFPs.
• Manage the entire proposal development process from initiation to submission.
• Create proposal timelines, coordinate with stakeholders across the organization, handle communications, facilitate reviews, and incorporate feedback.
• Review and enhance draft content generated by AI or sourced from Loopio, and manually draft content as necessary.
• Ensure proposals are complete, compliant, finalized, approved, and submitted on schedule.
• Work with the Director of Contract Management to compile and submit proposal materials.
• Identify and complete necessary government forms and corporate information for RFPs.
• Follow up on state and district opportunities and maintain an escalation process.
• Spearhead proposal process and workflow redesign, including automation and AI-assisted workflows.
• Create and maintain training plans and materials for the RFP process.
• Monitor proposal success metrics, collect stakeholder feedback, and suggest process enhancements.
• Test and assess new AI-assisted drafting, competitive analysis, and workflow automation tools.
• Engage in working groups, divisional activities, and organizational projects.
• Understanding of public-school procurement processes.
• Familiarity with College Board programs and services utilized by states and districts.
• 3–5 years of experience in proposal management or competitive bid development.
• Background in K-12 education or education policy is preferred.
• Demonstrated project management skills managing multiple complex projects across various teams with fixed deadlines.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Proficient in technical proposal, policy, or legislative writing and editing.
• Capable of synthesizing information from diverse sources into a unified voice.
• Excellent facilitation, collaboration, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
• Experience with data-informed problem-solving and continuous process improvement.
• Experience in leading or participating in process and workflow redesign initiatives.
• Practical experience with AI tools for content creation, research, or workflow automation.
• Ability to assess, adopt, and incorporate AI tools into team workflows.
• Proficient in proposal management platforms, preferably Loopio.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Proficient with Slack.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) is required.
• Willingness to travel 3–4 times a year to College Board offices or for College Board-related business.
• Capability to periodically lift boxes weighing 5–10 pounds.
• Authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, clear and concise.
