Associate Director, Product Software – Transformation

📋 Description

• Oversee daily value creation initiatives, establishing key inquiries, creating work plans, and managing various workstreams.

• Organize intricate challenges related to products, software, and transformations into hypotheses, analyses, workstreams, and decision points.

• Craft executive-level narratives that integrate analysis, client feedback, and expert insights into actionable recommendations.

• Cultivate trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders in business, product, technology, and finance sectors.

• Facilitate communication between commercial and technical audiences, ensuring alignment with business objectives, product realities, architectural considerations, and delivery feasibility.

• Connect initiatives to economic value creation, encompassing opportunity sizing, business cases, investment needs, benefits, trade-offs, and execution risks.

• Question assumptions, rigorously test recommendations, and pinpoint areas where specialized expertise is required.

• Propel engagements toward definitive decisions, prioritized actions, and a feasible execution pathway.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience functioning at a level similar to a high-achieving consulting Engagement Manager, Project Leader, Associate Director, or Senior Consultant, with a history of managing complex client engagements.

• Robust consulting skill set, preferably honed in a prestigious strategy, digital, or transformation consultancy, or through equivalent experience in high-stakes advisory or transformation settings.

• Demonstrated capability to tackle ambiguous challenges, impose structure, generate hypotheses, conduct thorough analysis, manage teams, and convert findings into a coherent executive narrative.

• Significant functional expertise in one or more areas such as transformation, product, software delivery, operating model design, technology strategy, or technology architecture.

• Strong commercial and financial insight, including opportunity sizing, business cases, benefit quantification, investment requirements, and strategic trade-offs.

• Established credibility with senior executives and functional leaders, including CEOs, CFOs, CTOs, CPOs, as well as leaders in product, engineering, architecture, and transformation.

• Confidence in navigating the intersection of business strategy, product, software, and technology.

• Hands-on leadership approach with the ability to guide analysis, challenge team perspectives, and shape the narrative.
