This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the product lifecycle for tDesign and establish a roadmap that aligns with Terray’s scientific and business objectives.
• Regularly present to executive leadership and key stakeholders regarding product impact and strategy.
• Comprehend the workflows of medicinal chemists, molecular design scientists, and small molecule program leads.
• Develop and enhance features that alleviate friction points in the design-make-test-analyze (DMTA) cycle.
• Convert intricate internal scientific tools into user-friendly, robust experiences.
• Serve as a liaison between scientific stakeholders and engineering/AI teams.
• Collaborate with scientific stakeholders to accurately translate technical specifications into biological and chemical realities.
• Foster organizational alignment across scientific, engineering, and AI teams.
• Lead the integration of AI agents and automated workflows into the user interface.
• Make advanced computational tools accessible to users without computational expertise.
• Track user engagement and program success metrics.
• Continuously refine the tDesign platform by applying SaaS product principles.
• Report directly to the Chief Technology Officer.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex, highly technical software products in a tech-first, SaaS, or high-growth environment.
• Proven expertise in product fundamentals across discovery, definition, and execution phases.
• Demonstrated success in building and managing complex internal tools or platforms for highly technical teams.
• Ability to grasp complex AI/ML/computational concepts and translate them into features for end users.
• A history of delivering highly reliable, robust software within an agile framework.
• Capability to balance long-term vision with immediate scientific requirements.
• Preferred: experience in transitioning complex internal tools into external-facing enterprise solutions.
• Preferred: experience in scoping requirements, defining SLAs, and managing expectations for sophisticated external clients.
• Preferred: ability to collaborate with SRE and DevOps teams to design and deliver highly available software.
• Preferred: familiarity with secure VPCs and deployment in diverse, secure, or client-hosted cloud environments.
• Preferred: in-depth understanding of data privacy, security, and enterprise governance for sensitive proprietary datasets.
• Preferred: ability to balance internal stakeholder needs with the requirements of broader external users.
