This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada, +1 more state.
• Drive the implementation of product pull-through strategies within key Priority Accounts and Affiliated Healthcare Systems in the oncology brand portfolio.
• Formulate and execute strategic business plans.
• Collaborate with various departments to deliver institution-focused programs.
• Cultivate essential business relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Engage with decision-makers to facilitate account purchasing and HCP ordering of Novartis products.
• Identify new business opportunities through insightful analysis.
• Assess customer needs from departmental to C-Suite levels while evaluating account dynamics and strategic direction.
• Collaborate with the Regional Managing Director and Regional Sales Director to develop strategic plans.
• Co-manage pre-launch strategies and execution across HQ, account, and Regional Executive Teams.
• Foster strategic relationships with both HCP and non-HCP partners.
• Initiate executive and HQ discussions with account C-Suite and D-Suite personnel.
• Promote internal cross-functional collaboration and proactively address barriers.
• Oversee account performance across the portfolio and lead efforts to achieve performance goals.
• Coordinate communications between Novartis, priority accounts, internal account teams, CE Leadership, and other Novartis departments.
• Manage several critical priority accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required.
• 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience must include at least two different types of cross-functional roles and/or experiences.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in project management and translating strategy into execution.
• At least 2 years’ experience leading complex projects requiring cross-functional and national coordination.
• Proven track record of exceptional performance and execution that yields results.
• Candidates must reside within the territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 100 miles from the territory border.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% across a wide geographic area.
• Must be able to drive and/or fly within the territory.
• A fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license is required.
• Experience engaging with assigned oncology accounts.
• 3+ years’ experience in account management covering Academic Medical Centers, Integrated Health Systems, GPOs, and/or Large Community Oncology Integrated Networks.
• Customer-facing employees must adhere to customers’ credentialing guidelines, which may necessitate vaccination.
• Must successfully complete initial training, including home study, with a maximum of eight hours per day and forty hours per week.
