πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Participate in the exchange of scientific data and medical/scientific information with KOLs, healthcare professionals (HCPs), researchers, pharmacists, and decision makers in population health.

β€’ Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of solid tumors, particularly cutaneous oncology, and other tumors of interest, aligning with clinical development and strategic medical plans.

β€’ Build, nurture, and sustain peer relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs).

β€’ Serve as the primary clinical/scientific resource for HCPs regarding disease states and the company’s products.

β€’ Identify and maintain a roster of relevant medical and therapeutic area experts and investigators, while developing engagement strategies.

β€’ Support evidence generation through company-sponsored clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies.

β€’ Recognize and report medical insights.

β€’ Identify research deficiencies and educational needs to guide medical strategy.

β€’ Address information requests and present or discuss scientific and clinical data with appropriate audiences in a compliant manner.

β€’ Conduct disease management and therapeutic area education for practitioners, payers, and researchers.

β€’ Attend medical conferences to gather and relay scientific, clinical, and competitive intelligence to internal stakeholders.

β€’ Uphold company policies, procedures, principles, and financial controls with integrity and professionalism.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A terminal scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP, or DVM) is mandatory.

β€’ A minimum of 8 years of experience is required, including at least 4 years in an Oncology Medical Science Liaison role.

β€’ Knowledge or experience in the Oncology therapeutic area is essential.

β€’ Experience in cutaneous oncology is preferred.

β€’ Established connections with KOLs in thoracic malignancies and familiarity with institutions focused on Solid Tumor Malignancies are preferred.

β€’ Experience with drug launches is strongly preferred.

β€’ Understanding of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations, pharmaceutical compliance practices, and OIG guidelines is necessary.

β€’ Residency within the designated territory is required.

β€’ Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

β€’ Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time, including air travel, overnight stays, and occasional weekends.
