This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Maintain the accuracy of the Market Access Early Pipeline team forecasting model assumptions by developing a comprehensive understanding of the underlying data and regularly updating the calculations.
• Compile and review market trends to ensure the completeness of the list, keeping assumptions up-to-date and effectively communicating insights across the US Market Access organization and relevant cross-functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Directors of Market Portfolio Strategy to support ongoing market analyses by collecting data and insights, utilizing these findings to shape methodologies and narrative development.
• Create and share updates to the US Market Access Outlook, ensuring that content from this Outlook is repurposed and utilized throughout the organization.
• Collect and maintain a significant catalogue of above-brand initiatives taking place within the US Market Access organization, allowing the Market Access Leadership Team to ensure proper visibility and involvement across the organization.
• Present analysis findings at various organizational levels.
• Contribute to the development of relevant market research by learning and adhering to all internal processes, analyzing secondary data, and integrating internal Novartis experiences to derive insights.
• Coordinate the annual business planning process for the team.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA, Health Policy, or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in Market Access, Healthcare Strategy Consulting, Policy, Managed Care Finance, Insights & Analytics, or Business Development.
• A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in the US Market is preferred.
• Proven familiarity with and capability to manipulate industry-standard claims and/or payer data (e.g., IQVIA, DRG Fingertip Formulary), or other published sources of pricing and payer coverage information.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing abilities, along with a proven track record in successfully collaborating within a matrix organization.
• Demonstrated skills in prioritization, organization, and analysis, as well as the capacity to devise solutions for intricate processes and procedures.
• Ability to assess complex business challenges and trends, connecting commercial, financial, and clinical perspectives to formulate improved value propositions.
