This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Consistently develop and uphold account management strategies and business reviews with each designated account to enhance current program utilization and foster growth in new sectors.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of state and district opportunities and challenges to create district account plans that offer data-informed, tailored solutions to address state and district requirements, aiming to expand business within your designated territory.
• Monitor progress toward achieving targets with the objective of meeting or surpassing individual goals that contribute to the overarching state and regional objectives of enhancing post-secondary opportunities for students.
• Evaluate and interpret trends utilizing College Board data sources within the assigned territory, organizing account activities that align with broader state and regional objectives.
• Lead consultative, solution-oriented sales processes with district leaders, influencing long-term adoption decisions.
• Develop and maintain expertise in College Board program and service innovations, as well as broader trends in K-12 education.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with key officials, either independently or in collaboration with colleagues, while continuously identifying new opportunities for partnership development.
• Perform necessary outreach to existing, new, and past state/district partners.
• Utilize strategic consultative discussions to plan and facilitate workshops and professional learning for K-12 constituent groups.
• Collaborate with district leadership and internal College Board teams to provide the support needed for the successful implementation of selected College Board programs and services.
• Use Salesforce CRM to track progress toward goals, manage accounts and opportunities, and support ongoing coaching, as well as individual, regional, and divisional goal achievement.
• Share broader sales strategies, insights, and innovations at the regional and divisional levels to accelerate College Board’s growth, reach, impact, and cultural development.
• 3–5+ years of professional experience in education, sales, or a related field.
• A genuine interest in and commitment to a sales career trajectory, including the comfort of managing a pipeline, achieving goals, and guiding partners toward adoption decisions.
• A strong drive to meet and exceed sales objectives, with a proactive approach to advancing opportunities and finalizing deals.
• A solid achievement orientation, with a history of establishing and achieving ambitious goals (in teaching, sales, or other performance-driven environments).
• Capacity to build and maintain meaningful relationships across diverse stakeholder groups, translating educator needs into actionable solutions and influencing partners toward adoption through consultative engagement.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects concurrently.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce (preferred), including managing workflows and facilitating data-driven decision-making.
• A Bachelor’s degree.
• Willingness to travel frequently, up to 40–50%, and maintain a valid driver’s license.
