This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
β’ Lead and manage the HR workstream for global acquisitions, divestitures, and service outsourcing transactions.
β’ Provide guidance to business leaders and functional stakeholders regarding people-related deal strategies.
β’ Identify people impacts and propose solutions for risk mitigation and business cases.
β’ Contribute to risk assessments, deal valuation, contractual requirements, and integration planning.
β’ Supervise a team of HR Business Development professionals.
β’ Coordinate HR deliverables across Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Payroll, Employee Relations, HR Services, and Workday throughout the transaction cycle.
β’ Conduct due diligence and transform client requirements into actionable HR integration solutions.
β’ Ensure HR preparedness for client transitions, which includes co-determination, onboarding, and compliance.
β’ Recognize and address people-related risks while supporting cultural and operational transitions.
β’ Develop both short- and long-term strategies for addressing integration challenges and gaps.
β’ Align timelines, processes, and communications among stakeholders.
β’ Assess key personnel and retention requirements.
β’ Oversee employee communications for those transitioning to Kyndryls through transactions.
β’ Facilitate leadership alignment and manage organizational change.
β’ Continuously enhance the operating model and create an HR M&A playbook.
β’ A minimum of 8+ years in HR roles.
β’ Familiarity with core HR processes such as benefits, compensation, payroll, and employee relations.
β’ A growth mindset and a proven change agent.
β’ Capability to manage multiple complex, high-profile projects concurrently within tight deadlines.
β’ Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and executive presence skills.
β’ Skill in simplifying complex topics into clear options and recommendations.
β’ Business acumen and an understanding of how HR factors influence deal dynamics and business outcomes.
β’ Strong grasp of HR operating models and global employment practices.
β’ Experience working across multiple countries.
β’ Proven track record of leading cross-functional and global teams.
β’ Highly organized and detail-oriented.
β’ Familiarity with Workday, HR analytics, and project management tools.
β’ Established subject matter expertise in HR Business Development, including due diligence, valuation and contracting prioritization, and integration gap solutions.
β’ Experience with total rewards programs, country-specific benefit plan variations, and TUPE impacts.
β’ A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred.
β’ Experience leading M&A initiatives at a global public company is preferred.
