This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Oversee the worldwide marketing strategy and tactical implementation for the BACTEC portfolio.
• Commercialize the BD BACTEC™ FXI Culture System to attract, retain, and grow the customer base.
• Create and execute global marketing tools and initiatives to enhance product adoption.
• Monitor sales funnel activities, product revenue effects, and growth in category share.
• Direct the global marketing strategy for blood culture, sepsis, and bloodstream infections.
• Formulate pricing, positioning, messaging, and tactical plans across various regions.
• Lead global commercialization teams during new product launches.
• Evaluate industry, market, policy, and social trends to determine market and customer requirements.
• Advocate for brand strategy and manage the branding and marketing campaigns of the portfolio.
• Collaborate with product management on portfolio strategy, roadmap, and priorities.
• Work with regional teams, R&D, Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, HEOR, Business Development, and other departments.
• Align strategies with product management to meet growth objectives for the Microbiology Segment and Advanced Diagnostic Solutions.
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree; an advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant functional experience and marketing leadership in the medical device and/or life sciences sector.
• Preferred experience in Microbiology and/or Infectious Diseases.
• General understanding of the diagnostics/life sciences market.
• Proven track record in product launches and commercial execution.
• Experience in identifying market opportunities, market segmentation, targeting, competitive analysis, pricing strategies, and go-to-market models and strategies.
• Capability to develop and execute commercial strategies, translating them into actionable marketing plans, and achieving results.
• Proficient in comprehending and communicating complex scientific, clinical, and technical information as customer-relevant marketing benefits.
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple competing projects across various functions and regions.
• Skilled in developing strong relationships with regions and functions.
• Strong leadership presence, influencing skills, and the ability to facilitate successful execution.
• Capacity to operate across global regions at both executive and tactical sales/marketing levels.
• Willingness to travel globally up to 30% of the time.
