Associate Director – Global Advocacy, Policy Research

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive the policy research and evidence agenda for Fòs Feminista

• Oversee the establishment and implementation of both multi-year and annual research priorities

• Facilitate collaboration with Alliance partners to foster transnational technical and policy research

• Conduct research, compose, analyze, and assist in supervising Fòs Feminista's research outputs

• Lead the dissemination of advocacy knowledge and evidence across various platforms

• Provide technical expertise in the development of knowledge products

• Maintain and curate a centralized database containing policy research resources

• Coordinate the monitoring and reporting of the reach and impact of Fòs Feminista’s policy research

• Act as the primary contact for the Centre for Evidence-Based Advocacy

• Assist in the strategic development of programs aligned with advocacy objectives

• Supervise and offer strategic direction to advocacy teams

• Aid in managing donor relationships and strategic engagement

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in public health or public policy

• At least 7 years of experience in public policy analysis

• Proven ability to work effectively with diplomatic experience

• Familiarity with multilateral settings, including the United Nations

• Proficiency in English is required

• Fluency in Arabic, French, Portuguese, Spanish, or other languages is highly advantageous

• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities

• Strong skills in policy analysis and independent thinking

• Capacity to organize work, prioritize tasks, manage competing demands, and maintain a positive demeanor

• Extensive knowledge of and commitment to women's and LGBTQI+ rights, social justice, HIV and AIDS, non-discrimination, and human rights
