This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the design and activation of FP&A and consolidation operating models, including organizational structures, roles, RACI, service delivery models, calendars, governance forums, and performance metrics.
• Take ownership of the complete process design and execution across budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, management reporting, financial close, consolidation, intercompany, and statutory-to-management reporting.
• Facilitate client workshops, align stakeholders, guide the design of current and future states, build consensus, and create strategic blueprints, target operating models, and transformation roadmaps.
• Offer strategic FP&A surge and interim support, transforming observations into actionable insights.
• Model and enhance processes by reducing cycle times, eliminating handoffs, simplifying controls, and implementing automation.
• Direct the evaluation and selection of EPM platforms, including gathering requirements, preparing RFPs, conducting vendor demos, scoring, and making recommendations.
• Lead implementation enablement covering program management, functional design, data models, testing, data conversion, and reconciliation.
• Manage change and adoption processes, including stakeholder analysis, communications, training, and hypercare support.
• Collaborate with data and analytics teams on integrations, master data management, and downstream reporting.
• Provide advisory services on AI and automation applications for forecasting, variance analysis, and financial close processes.
• Assist in business development through the identification of opportunities, discovery, scoping, pricing, proposal development, SOWs, oral presentations, and closing deals.
• Cultivate client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs, Controllers, and heads of FP&A.
• Contribute to practice development, thought leadership, conferences, and the EPM partner ecosystem.
• Collaborate across CrossCountry Consulting solution areas to deliver integrated capabilities to clients.
• Lead delivery teams across various engagements, ensuring accountability for quality, margin, and client experience.
• Mentor team members, manage their performance and career progression, and engage in recruitment efforts.
• Participate in proposal writing and firm-wide AI innovation initiatives.
• Over 9 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial close and consolidation, finance transformation, or EPM advisory.
• At least 5 years in a client-serving consulting environment.
• Proven ownership of end-to-end FP&A and/or close and consolidation transformations in complex organizations.
• Hands-on experience with the EPM lifecycle involving at least one leading platform.
• Strong expertise in driver-based planning, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, scenario modeling, profitability and cost allocation, management reporting, and KPI design.
• Working knowledge of consolidation mechanics, intercompany eliminations, legal entity and ownership structures, currency translation and CTA, top-side adjustments, and GAAP/non-GAAP bridges.
• Demonstrated ability in business development, including sourcing, shaping, and securing work.
• Proven track record of leading and developing multi-level delivery teams.
• Executive presence with the capability to build analyses and narratives that support CFO-level decisions.
• Willingness to continuously learn and apply emerging LLM capabilities, agent frameworks, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in professional services is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with facilitating Kaizen, Human-Centered Design, or other structured workshops is preferred.
• CPA, CFA, AFP Certified Corporate FP&A Professional, OneStream, PMP, or Prosci/change management certification is preferred.
• Previous in-house FP&A or controllership experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx is advantageous.
• Experience with PE-backed portfolio companies, carve-outs, IPO readiness, or post-merger integration is beneficial.
