Associate Director, Field Reimbursement, Corporate Account

📋 Description

• Serve as the expert on reimbursement, access, and coverage matters related to ViiV’s long-acting injectables.

• Ensure proper patient access to medications.

• Focus on Key National Strategic Accounts/IDNs and guarantee that implementation requirements for ViiV Long Acting Injectables are fulfilled.

• Strengthen the implementation presence within key accounts.

• Design and execute a comprehensive top-down implementation strategy that aligns with the needs of each account.

• Navigate complex scenarios with both internal and external clients using sound judgment and effective problem-solving skills.

• Communicate and influence internal matrix stakeholders, including Corporate Account Teams, Territory FRMs, Field Sales, and Reimbursement Support Services.

• Assess access and reimbursement challenges and opportunities.

• Offer product access and reimbursement expertise to strategic accounts.

• Deliver education on access and reimbursement to field teams and matrix partners.

• Coordinate access and reimbursement issues with external parties, including hubs.

• Support patient access by offering expert insights on reimbursement obstacles.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and over 7 years of experience in field reimbursement, key account management, payer marketing, patient support programs, or reimbursement HUB programs.

• Familiarity with payer and health systems.

• Experience collaborating with specialty pharmacies, including the buy and bill process, as well as Medicare Parts A, B, C, D, Medicaid, and Commercial Payers.

• Willingness to travel over 50% of the time.

• Proven ability to educate healthcare offices regarding access and reimbursement procedures.

• Strong focus on proactive implementation execution, aimed at streamlining and simplifying processes.

• Demonstrated indirect/direct leadership with effective coaching capabilities.

• Strong persuasive communication skills.

• Solid business acumen with a focus on customer relations and management.

• Effective problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

• MBA, MPH, or another advanced degree is preferred.
