This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• As an Associate Director on the North Energy Providers team, you will be responsible for developing project outcomes and managing client relationships on large engagements.
• Take ownership of project delivery and oversee significant project workstreams.
• Regularly interact with clients to ensure the success of engagements.
• Support or lead daily internal team meetings and coordinate/facilitate meetings with clients and their stakeholders.
• Prepare and effectively communicate well-structured reports and presentations to clients.
• Lead proposal initiatives for clients and play a role in expanding the portfolio.
• Guide, mentor, and coach team members to ensure high-quality analysis and deliverables.
• Manage teams tasked with providing detailed research and analysis on energy-related activities.
• Maintain and enhance existing client relationships.
• Develop and present findings and recommended action plans directly to clients.
• Conduct, advise on, and review technical and business research, analyses, and other work products.
• Evaluate emerging industry trends, oversee data collection activities, or devise strategies for utility programs.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions between client departments and third-party organizations.
• US Citizenship restrictions may apply; sponsorship is not available.
• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, design, business, economics, policy, environmental science, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of relevant industry or consulting experience, excluding internships, co-ops, fellowships, and academic research.
• Proven experience in leading teams.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in data analysis.
• Capable of taking ownership of significant task portions while collaborating with a cohesive team.
• Possess an inquisitive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Skillful in managing multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing, and planning work activities to meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and management capabilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, especially in conveying information across business and technical teams as well as to regulatory representatives.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Must currently reside in the USA.
