Associate Director – Director of Business Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Lead, develop, and expand a team of analysts and analytics engineers while cultivating a culture centered on data quality and intellectual integrity.

• Oversee and prioritize the BI roadmap and backlog across all business sectors, including Marketing, Product, Risk, and Finance.

• Establish a revenue-first prioritization framework to guarantee that BI initiatives directly contribute to business growth and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert ambiguous business challenges into clear data requirements and actionable metric definitions.

• Distill complex data into compelling narratives that empower executives to make quick, informed decisions.

• Work alongside Data Engineering to create a robust foundational data layer that facilitates advanced analytics and semantic modeling.

• Set and uphold high standards for dashboard quality, metric governance, and the provision of proactive business insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership in managing and scaling BI or analytics teams, including recruitment and performance coaching.

• Capability to take ownership of the function's roadmap, capacity planning, and intricate stakeholder management.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to differentiate impactful business inquiries from irrelevant details.

• Domain expertise in fast-paced transactional sectors such as fintech, crypto, or payments.

• Extensive knowledge of B2C metrics, including acquisition funnels, retention curves, LTV, and CAC.

• Proficiency in product and marketing analytics, ranging from A/B testing to attribution models and lifecycle stages.

• Familiarity with the modern analytics stack, including Databricks, dbt, and advanced visualization tools.

• A strategic mindset focused on data reliability and the specific decisions enabled by BI products.
