Associate Director, Digital/IT Business Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold business capability models that are in line with Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing strategies.

• Lead initiatives in business modeling where manufacturing processes encompass unclassified, air-gapped, and classified environments.

• Identify opportunities for the modernization and optimization of legacy business processes and workflows, including those that support 24/7 automated operations.

• Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical capabilities.

• Work across various functions to address undefined or emerging business challenges that impact engineering, operations, and manufacturing.

• Analyze constraints and design workflows that accommodate air-gapped sectors of the manufacturing process.

• Provide clarity and structure to complex, undefined business challenges.

• Contribute to strategic planning, portfolio prioritization, and transformation road mapping.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience.

• Experience in business architecture or enterprise analysis is required.

• Proficiency in capability mapping and value stream modeling is essential.

• Experience in designing processes for automated or continuous operations is necessary.

• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and the business implications of smart manufacturing is vital.

• Familiarity with TOGAF or BIZBOK-aligned business architecture principles is preferred.

• Experience in navigating classified or air-gapped manufacturing environments is important.

• An active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to the start date.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
