Associate Director – Corporate Sponsorships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee and expand a portfolio consisting of 125 – 150 corporate partners and prospects throughout all phases of the relationship lifecycle.

• Formulate and implement strategies aimed at securing new corporate partnerships while enhancing revenue and engagement from current partners.

• Craft tailored proposals, presentations, sponsorship packages, and partnership agreements.

• Achieve or surpass annual revenue targets.

• Act as the primary relationship manager for designated corporate partners.

• Collaborate with the Development, Marketing & Communications, Events, Mission, Advocacy, and field staff.

• Utilize volunteer leaders, board members, and executive leadership to nurture, solicit, and maintain significant corporate relationships.

• Represent The ALS Association at meetings, conferences, networking events, and community engagements.

• Ensure accurate documentation, revenue projections, and partnership activities within Salesforce.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a relevant combination of education and experience.

• Four years of experience in corporate fundraising, corporate partnerships, sponsorship sales, business development, account management, or a related field.

• Proven track record of securing and growing corporate partnerships with measurable revenue results.

• Experience managing a portfolio of corporate donors, sponsors, or business relationships.

• Excellent communication, presentation, proposal-writing, and negotiation abilities.

• Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
