Associate Director, Clinical Project Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Lead the management of various Phase I-IV clinical research trials across different geographic and functional areas.

• Ensure that projects are completed on schedule, within budgetary constraints, and meet quality standards.

• Plan, implement, facilitate, and assess assigned clinical trials from the planning stage through to analysis.

• Oversee the operations of clinical trials, including deliverables, timelines, budgets, resources, and project teams.

• Ensure adherence to ICH guidelines, GCP, regulatory standards, and trial procedures.

• Coordinate activities among clinical project managers, clinical project coordinators, functional areas, clients, sponsors, and executive management.

• Act as the primary project liaison with CTI executive management and sponsors.

• Identify, escalate, and assist in resolving issues related to trials, staff, budget, scope, and operations.

• Review study plans, project timelines, status reports, sponsor deliverables, quality assurance reports, and project metrics.

• Supervise project team training and provide guidance, mentoring, and professional development.

• Assist with scope modifications, contract amendments, budget preparation, new business proposals, client presentations, recruitment, and marketing efforts.

• Drive process improvement initiatives and create reference and resource materials for clinical operations staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in allied health fields such as nursing, pharmacy, or health science, ideally with experience in clinical trial management, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical research and/or clinical project management.

• A clear and comprehensive understanding of global trial management processes and the functioning of all clinical trial functional areas.

• Experience in managing clinical trials.

• A thorough and up-to-date understanding of at least one therapeutic area for which CTI is contracted for clinical projects is preferred.
