This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a scientific authority facilitating nonclinical drug development across various therapeutic domains.
• Operate both autonomously and as a member of cohesive discovery and development teams.
• Analyze pharmacologic and toxicity-related data to propel promising therapeutics through Regeneron’s pipeline.
• Identify and assess clinical pathology-related endpoints within pharmacology and toxicology studies.
• Drive decision-making based on clinical pathology data insights.
• Collaborate with anatomic pathologists, toxicologists, and researchers at Regeneron.
• Work alongside CROs to deliver scientific peer evaluations of nonclinical safety studies.
• Oversee Clinical Pathology support for designated therapeutic focus areas.
• Provide mentorship to junior Pathologists.
• Assist in drug molecule efficacy and safety assessments, including GLP toxicology and PK studies.
• DVM (or equivalent) with ACVP certification in Clinical Pathology is mandatory.
• At least 3 years of industry experience in interpreting GLP and non-GLP clinical pathology data in nonclinical studies, as well as supporting discovery research in a pharma/biotech or CRO environment.
• Proven experience in integrating clinical and anatomic pathology data.
• Familiarity with animal models that mimic human diseases.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, characterized by clarity and conciseness.
• A track record of contributing to cross-functional teams.
• Capability to influence scientific strategy, address problems, and enhance the understanding of pathology-related issues affecting drug development results.
• Additional certification in Anatomic Pathology is considered a plus.
