This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark, +3 more states.
• Propel new business expansion across a designated EMEA region for Lonza's Integrated Biologics solutions.
• Discover, cultivate, and secure strategic customer opportunities.
• Forge enduring relationships with key decision-makers.
• Influence complex development and manufacturing strategies, positioning Lonza as a partner throughout the product lifecycle.
• Create and implement a territory strategy centered on mammalian, drug product, and ADC solutions.
• Identify high-value opportunities and spearhead customer engagement from initial contact to opportunity creation.
• Articulate Lonza's technical capabilities, innovative technologies, and value proposition.
• Assist in the generation and conversion of clinical development opportunities.
• Establish relationships with potential customers and pinpoint strategic partnership opportunities.
• Design and execute territory growth plans from lead qualification to deal closure.
• Represent the company at industry conferences and partnering events.
• Advocate for technical capabilities, service offerings, and emerging technologies through meetings, presentations, and networking.
• Lead commercial discussions and negotiations, aiding in contract development.
• Collaborate with Technical, Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Proposal Management teams.
• Monitor market trends, customer demands, and competitive activities to formulate growth strategies and value propositions.
• A degree in a Life Sciences discipline such as Biochemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in commercial and business development within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CDMO sectors.
• Demonstrated success in generating and nurturing strategic customer partnerships.
• A solid understanding of the drug development lifecycle, encompassing pre-clinical, clinical, manufacturing, and commercialization stages.
• Capability to engage in substantial scientific and business conversations.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Confidence in influencing technical experts and senior executives.
• Experience in managing sales pipelines and customer engagement activities using CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.com.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
