This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, initiate, and manage strategic collaborations with pharmaceutical, biotech, and technology firms.
• Lead cross-functional teams from the initial outreach phase through to contract completion.
• Own and develop long-term strategic plans for partnership expansion aligned with company objectives.
• Drive the assessment of new business models, including risk-sharing partnerships and platform collaborations.
• Provide thought leadership regarding emerging trends in drug development, clinical trials, precision medicine, and diagnostics.
• Analyze partner pipelines, market demands, and gaps to inform the prioritization of opportunities.
• Present insights and recommendations to executive leadership and influence corporate strategy.
• Lead negotiations and the structuring of complex business development agreements, including research collaborations, licensing, and co-commercialization.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and regulatory stakeholders to create compliant and value-driven agreements.
• Represent Natera at significant industry meetings, conferences, and partner events to establish credibility and nurture relationships.
• Act as a trusted liaison for external partners, internal leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related area; MBA or advanced scientific degree is highly preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, or alliance management within biopharma, diagnostics, or healthcare technology.
• Proven track record in sourcing, negotiating, and finalizing high-value partnerships.
• In-depth understanding of the drug development ecosystem, including clinical trial design, regulatory pathways, and commercialization processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strategic thinker with robust analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and business applications (PowerPoint, Excel).
