This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.
β’ Drive the growth of new business within Lonza's biologics service offerings.
β’ Cultivate strategic customer relationships to generate new opportunities.
β’ Implement a territory growth strategy targeting the U.S. Northeast region.
β’ Act as a reliable commercial partner to potential customers throughout the biologics development and commercialization lifecycle.
β’ Formulate and execute a territory business plan aimed at achieving revenue, pipeline, and growth targets.
β’ Identify, engage, and establish new customer relationships within biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors.
β’ Build and sustain strong relationships with scientific, technical, operational, and executive-level stakeholders in target accounts.
β’ Advocate for Lonza's biologics capabilities and value proposition across Early Development, Mammalian Manufacturing, and Drug Product Manufacturing.
β’ Lead discussions with customers, including presentations, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
β’ Collaborate closely with Marketing, Technical Experts, Program Management, and Commercial teams.
β’ Track market trends, competitive activities, and customer requirements to uncover growth opportunities.
β’ Maintain precise pipeline, account, and opportunity data within Salesforce, while also providing timely forecasts and business updates.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Business, or a related discipline; advanced degree is preferred.
β’ At least 8 years of experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, CDMO, or life sciences sectors, including roles in business development, sales, account management, or commercial leadership.
β’ Demonstrated success in acquiring new business and meeting or surpassing commercial growth objectives in complex, high-value sales environments.
β’ Strong grasp of biologics drug development, manufacturing, and commercialization processes, including drug substance and drug product services.
β’ Experience in selling or supporting CDMO services, contract manufacturing, development services, or related biologics outsourcing solutions.
β’ Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders from scientists to C-suite executives.
β’ Experience working in cross-functional and matrixed organizations to drive opportunities and deliver customer-centric solutions.
β’ Strong business acumen, strategic thinking abilities, and proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office applications.
β’ Preferred experience with biologics, mammalian cell culture, drug substance manufacturing, drug product manufacturing, or related biopharmaceutical technologies.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% for customer visits, industry events, and Lonza locations.
