This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the biostatistics lead for one or more studies within a project team, providing expertise in study design, operations, decision rules, and analysis planning.
• Write and oversee the creation of the statistical sections of protocols and analysis plans, as well as contribute to the statistical components of publications across various clinical projects.
• Mentor and manage junior biostatisticians, promoting their professional growth and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee the statistical activities performed by Contract Research Organizations (CROs) to ensure they align with project goals and standards.
• Provide support to junior statisticians and statistical programmers in the development of SDTM/ADaM datasets and TLFs (Tables, Listings, and Figures) specifications, along with conducting quality checks on statistical programming work as necessary.
• PhD or MS in statistics or biostatistics. A PhD is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience for PhD holders or 8 years for MS holders in clinical trials is required.
• Comprehensive understanding of statistical principles, current statistical designs and methodologies, and their application in clinical trials.
• Strong statistical leadership in a multi-functional project setting: capable of managing multiple projects concurrently and navigating conflicting priorities.
• Excellent writing and communication skills: proficient in authoring various statistical documents and capable of clearly explaining complex statistical designs, methodologies, decision rules, analysis plans, and statistical reports to the team.
• Experience with Bayesian modeling and analysis.
• Proficient in SAS programming, R programming, and other statistical software.
• Familiarity with AI or agentic AI in statistical reporting is an advantage.
• Experience in people management is a plus.
