This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.
• Oversee and enhance customer data management within Salesforce and external data platforms.
• Guarantee the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of customer information while managing account creation and administration in Salesforce.
• Engage in automation projects and data integrations to optimize workflows and support data-driven decision-making.
• Keep customer records updated in Salesforce, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
• Establish and oversee new customer accounts, ensuring they are correctly categorized and compliant with internal data standards.
• Identify and rectify data discrepancies, duplicates, and inconsistencies to uphold a reliable database.
• Manage and integrate data from external vendors to ensure coherence with internal systems and business needs.
• Supervise and implement data governance policies for vendor information, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and company regulations.
• Work collaboratively with vendors to enhance data quality, accessibility, and usability.
• Document and enforce best practices, policies, and procedures for managing customer data, including third-party firmographics.
• Provide training to internal teams on data entry protocols and effective use of Salesforce for maintaining high-quality records.
• Contribute to the design and execution of automation for data entry, updates, and validation processes within Salesforce.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate third-party data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and accessibility.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance efficiency through AI, machine learning, and API integrations.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline is required (Data, IT, Business, or a related field). A combination of education and experience may also be taken into account.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in data management, data quality, CRM administration, or a similar field.
• Some experience (0–1 years) in data operations, data entry/data management, CRM support/administration, or a related area (internships/co-ops/projects are acceptable).
• Experience in a data-centric role or academic/project work related to data quality, cleansing, or CRM systems.
• Proficiency in Salesforce (Admin certification is advantageous).
• Familiarity with third-party data platforms and integration tools.
• Strong grasp of data governance, compliance, and industry best practices.
• Capability to design and implement automation workflows and data integrations.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Experience with Salesforce Flow, Zapier, MuleSoft, or other automation tools.
• Background in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
• Awareness of data privacy regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, or industry-specific standards.
