• Assume creative ownership of primary client accounts, ensuring clarity and quality in all aspects.
• Establish the creative direction for projects from initial concept through to execution.
• Take responsibility for the overall creative integrity, beyond just individual deliverables.
• Work in collaboration with production and tech teams to develop feasible strategies.
• Act as a creative lead during pitches, effectively communicating the company's distinctive perspective.
• The Associate Creative Director (ACD) position signifies a shift from a senior individual contributor role to a comprehensive creative leadership role.
• Maintain a high level of trust, ownership, and influence within internal teams and across global client accounts.
• Stay engaged as a practitioner, deeply involved in the craft while overseeing creative direction, high-stakes client management, and team mentorship.
• Exercise creative ownership over one or more primary client accounts, ensuring consistency, quality, and clarity across all engagements.
• Set and uphold the creative direction throughout projects—from the early concept stage to execution.
• Be accountable for the overall creative quality of the work, not just individual outputs.
• Possess expertise in core creative competencies—be well-acquainted with high-level creative execution.
• Be actively involved in both the conceptual and delivery phases of the creative process as necessary.
• Have a clear understanding of the possibilities and limitations in 2D/3D motion design.
• Serve as a consistent creative point of contact for assigned client accounts.
• Build trust through discerning taste, reliability, and thoughtful decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with Production and Tech teams to devise strategies that balance ambition with feasibility and craftsmanship.
• Take on a creative lead role in pitches and new client opportunities, articulating a unique viewpoint.
• Contribute to the development of concepts, narratives, and presentations that showcase Active Theory’s perspective.
• Act as a key ambassador for Active Theory, beginning to establish a public leadership profile (e.g., through industry events or thought leadership).
• Lead by example in craft, communication, and teamwork.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of AI and show a general interest in artificial intelligence.
• Provide guidance and feedback that enhances designers' skills and strengthens the overall work.
• Contribute to the establishment of creative standards, systems, and workflows that can scale across the studio.
