This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with your creative partner to brainstorm ideas, develop brands, and implement designs for various forms of communication, including both print and digital mediums.
• Generate solutions that not only impact our clients' businesses but also create a meaningful difference for individuals.
• Continuously create and motivate others to deliver exceptional and innovative creative solutions and narratives that are strategically sound and efficiently executed.
• Design visual systems, design languages, and messaging frameworks tailored for a wide range of life sciences clients.
• Develop modular and scalable brand platforms that ensure brand consistency across different channels and clients for high-volume personalized content.
• Convert complex clinical data and brand strategies into engaging visual narratives and persuasive stories.
• Collaborate across disciplines (Art and Copy) to establish foundational creative narratives and systems that set the benchmark for all tactical executions.
• Supervise creative output to maintain a "systems-first" approach in all design and copy development.
• Work in partnership with strategy and other departments to ensure communications are based on profound customer insights.
• Guide senior-level creative reviews with an emphasis on strategic solutions and the establishment of scalable brand platforms.
• Mentor the work of others—typically 2–4 employees—helping junior and mid-level creatives develop systematic foundational thinking.
• Take part in new business pitches from gathering insights and developing strategies to creating concepts and presenting to clients.
• Over 8 years of demonstrated experience in art direction and design leadership within an AOR agency or design firm.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or equivalent work experience.
• Mastery of "systems thinking" with a portfolio that highlights scalable and modular design.
• Capability to translate nuanced strategies into sophisticated and impactful creative solutions.
• Strong experience in digital-first design and omnichannel content architecture, with proficiency in developing component-based systems using tools like Figma.
• Expertise in balancing creative excellence with stringent medical and regulatory guidelines.
• A portfolio that showcases superior craftsmanship, conceptual strength, and the ability to manage high-stakes brand stewardship.
• Outstanding presentation skills, with the ability to advocate for ideas and executions to senior stakeholders.
