Associate Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Conducting legal research and drafting legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda.

• Providing assessments on liability, damages, and value as requested by the Claims Department.

• Drafting and managing pleadings, motions, and discovery processes.

• Representing and defending all assigned matters through trial or dispositive hearing.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 6+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense and/or personal injury is REQUIRED.

• Juris Doctor degree is REQUIRED.

• Admission to the New Jersey Bar is REQUIRED.

• Must maintain a valid license in good standing to practice law in New Jersey.

• Ability to travel as necessary.

• Must document files in a clear, concise, and professional written format.

• Must be capable of following complex instructions, resolving conflicts or facilitating conflict resolution, and demonstrate strong organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking abilities.
