Associate Cloud Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Address and resolve monitoring alerts effectively.

• Manage inquiries from customers, partners, and the services team within the company.

• Assist with incident response, conduct Disaster Recovery failover testing, and facilitate scheduled maintenance windows in the cloud environment.

• Handle basic inbound phone calls, tickets, and emails related to cloud-hosted solutions.

• Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to comprehend ticket requests.

• React to internal monitoring alerts and implement timely corrective measures.

• Provide support for cloud infrastructure, networking, and hosting tools to maintain high availability of customer solutions.

• Diagnose and resolve basic cloud-related issues using company systems, utilities, and support processes.

• Contribute to internal documentation that outlines issue resolution and hosted-system maintenance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience is required.

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

• Familiarity with Incident Management processes.

• Basic understanding of cloud hosting environments and support procedures.

• Knowledge of systems administration principles, including Microsoft Windows, networking, and virtualization technologies.

• Understanding of Microsoft Server environments, including Microsoft Active Directory, networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

• Proficient in critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience utilizing cloud infrastructure monitoring tools and executing corrective action workflows.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

• Experience in contributing to internal documentation and gathering audit information.

• Awareness of disaster recovery and business continuity procedures in cloud-hosted environments.
