This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Illustrate the significance and impact of the Impella® product portfolio to physicians and hospital personnel.
• Guide Interventional Cardiologists and Surgeons on patient eligibility.
• Collaborate on training initiatives and participate in implant procedures.
• Enhance patient outcomes through education and interaction with medical staff, including clinical demonstrations and ongoing training for both new and existing accounts.
• Gather clinically relevant data, conduct outcome reviews with clients, and share activities with team members and sales colleagues.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of products and therapies along with their applications.
• Offer detailed guidance on the appropriate utilization of Impella® devices.
• Employ Integrity Selling to promote Impella usage and transform the standard of care.
• Arrange one-on-one meetings and discussions with physicians.
• Organize dinner programs for physicians and hospital staff.
• Work alongside sales colleagues on awareness campaigns and franchise initiatives.
• Be available for emergent patient care calls.
• Travel throughout the designated territory.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct RN/NP/PA or Regulatory Technician patient support experience in an ICU, CVICU, Cath Lab, or Cardiovascular Operating Room.
• At least 2 years of commercial sales experience related to cardiovascular products and technologies.
• Capability to advance the sales process with clients.
• Ability to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to take calls for emergent patient care.
• Proven experience in delivering demonstrations and successful training sessions.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the territory.
• Perform duties in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device sector.
• Hands-on experience with Impella support is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience as an Abiomed per diem is preferred.
• RN license is strongly preferred.
• Experience with ECMO is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to advocate effectively with physicians.
