Associate, Capital Markets

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Structuring and executing deals: Design intricate debt instruments, such as construction, bridge, and mezzanine financing. Lead the examination of term sheets to enhance pricing, leverage, and adaptability.

• Advanced capital modeling: Develop and sustain complex, dynamic models to assess IRR, term sheets, and WACC.

• Capital stack strategy: Propose optimal funding approaches by balancing capital costs with risk and operational limitations.

• Lender relations & syndication: Serve as the primary liaison for institutional partners and banks. Oversee the "Due Diligence" vault and streamline the closing process for new credit facilities.

• Portfolio oversight: Actively manage the debt maturity ladder and track essential covenants (DSCR, LTV, LTC).

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: 3–6 years in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Structured Finance.

• Modeling Expertise: Proficient in Excel at an expert level. Must be adept at creating complex debt waterfalls and automated tools (experience with VBA or Power Query is a notable advantage).

• Technical Acumen: Comprehensive understanding of credit agreements, loan documentation, and institutional underwriting standards. Experience in reviewing US credit agreements or facilitating US loan transactions is preferred.

• Strategic Communication: Capable of converting technical financial information into high-level strategic memos for the Executive Leadership team.

• Availability: Must be able to overlap at least 6 hours with US Central Time.
