
Associate Attorney – General Liability, Insurance Defense

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee a varied caseload from initiation to resolution.
• Offer strategic legal guidance and representation in court, arbitrations, and depositions.
• Conduct file reviews and perform legal analysis on claims and causes of action.
• Carry out extensive legal research and draft significant briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs.
• Regularly represent clients in court, during arbitrations, and in depositions.
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
• Engage with expert witnesses for retention and collaboration.
• Prepare for trials and attend as necessary.
• Work closely with partners, clients, and stakeholders to provide strategic and practical legal advice.
• Manage deadlines and assignments with a strong sense of ownership and independence.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state where the position is posted (required); additional bar admissions are a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in the relevant practice area.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience with administrative proceedings, depositions, and mediations.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Professional demeanor with strong client relations and communication skills.
• Must demonstrate responsiveness and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
