This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
β’ Oversee a varied caseload from beginning to end, offering strategic legal guidance and representation in court, arbitration, and depositions.
β’ Conduct file reviews and perform legal analysis on claims and causes of action.
β’ Engage in comprehensive legal research and draft significant briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs.
β’ Frequently represent clients in court, during arbitrations, and at depositions.
β’ Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
β’ Collaborate with expert witnesses for retention and feedback.
β’ Prepare for and attend trials.
β’ Work closely with partners, clients, and stakeholders to provide strategic and practical legal advice.
β’ Manage assignments and deadlines with a strong sense of ownership and autonomy.
β’ Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a law school accredited by the ABA.
β’ Active license to practice law in the specified state (mandatory); additional bar admissions are advantageous.
β’ At least 2 years of experience within the relevant practice group.
β’ Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy abilities.
β’ Familiarity with administrative proceedings, depositions, and mediations.
β’ Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
β’ Professional demeanor coupled with strong client relations and communication skills.
β’ Must demonstrate responsiveness and organizational skills, with the capability to prioritize various tasks.
