This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Conduct analyses, pricing, and risk assessments to estimate financial outcomes.
• Oversee actuarial requirements specific to health plans.
• Generate actuarial reports to support the development of corporate strategies.
• Act as the primary contact for actuarial forecasting activities.
• Utilize knowledge in mathematics, probability, statistics, finance, and business to compute financial outcomes.
• Develop probability tables through the analysis of statistical data.
• Investigate and evaluate the effects of legislative changes.
• Assess cash reserves and liabilities to ensure the disbursement of future benefits.
• Analyze diverse data reports, identify trends and gaps, and recommend appropriate actions.
• Establish a fair basis for the distribution of funds for insurance benefits.
• Create and maintain actuarial reports.
• ASA or FSA designation is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Minimum of two years of actuarial experience is essential.
• Proficient in advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in Medicaid and forecasting is preferred.
