This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze and forecast financial, economic, and other data to deliver precise and timely insights for strategic and operational decision-making.

• Establish performance metrics and conduct data analyses to bolster business intelligence.

• Assess industry, economic, financial, and market trends to project the organization's financial outlook in the short, medium, and long term.

• Ensure data integrity by creating and implementing essential processes and controls for data flow.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify business needs and issues, troubleshoot challenges, and devise cost-effective solutions for data discrepancies.

• Shape the department's strategy and make informed decisions on moderately complex to complex issues concerning the technical approach for project elements.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• The Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation is required.

• Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for Humana's Actuarial Professional Development Program (APDP).

• Active membership in the American Academy of Actuaries must be maintained in good standing throughout employment.

• Strong communication abilities are essential.

• A genuine passion for enhancing consumer experiences within the organization is required.

• Previous experience in the Medicare Advantage or Health insurance industry is preferred.

• Proven expertise in SAS, SQL, or Python, with at least 3 years of experience in coding and data manipulation is preferred.

• Previous experience in pricing or actuarial modeling is preferred.

• Familiarity with Value-Based, Risk Sharing, or other alternative payment models is advantageous.

• Demonstrated proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), with experience in designing and delivering reports and dashboards is preferred.

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) is preferred.
