This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily management of client accounts, facilitating coordination between client stakeholders and aligning internal agency teams to ensure adherence to project timelines and to proactively identify and address any potential obstacles.
• Exhibit ongoing accountability by developing and managing project management documents, including status tracking materials.
• Assist in vendor management related to database development, consumer research, and call center functions.
• Identify opportunities to broaden the scope of work with current clients as part of business growth initiatives.
• Act as the main point of contact for key client stakeholders and collaborate with internal teams to guarantee effective support and successful execution of client projects.
• Participate in meetings and keep clients informed about all activities.
• Develop detailed communication plans utilizing owned, earned, shared, and paid media channels.
• Enhance and safeguard our clients’ reputations by formulating tactical strategies that effectively showcase their value in the marketplace.
• Construct narratives and engagement strategies that foster trust, credibility, and support among key audiences.
• Create strategic, targeted messaging and materials to implement approved strategies that elevate the client’s external reputation and ensure internal alignment.
• Contribute to creative brainstorming and asset creation.
• Draft message platforms, initial communications, creative briefs, and prepare deliverables for final review with the account lead.
• Engage in cross-functional teams of strategic communication specialists, managed care leaders, finance teams, revenue cycle professionals, and analysts to execute integrated strategies.
• Provide strategic direction and ensure the smooth execution of initiatives that align with the client’s objectives.
• Learn from seasoned team members to enhance your skills.
• Remain informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements within the healthcare and managed care sectors.
• Transform insights into actionable recommendations for clients to maintain a competitive edge.
• Learn to adapt campaigns based on negotiation developments and assist clients in scenario planning.
• Three to five years of experience in healthcare strategy, ideally with an emphasis on strategic communications and a willingness to learn about managed care.
• Outstanding writing capabilities.
• Experience in developing and implementing integrated communication strategies, including media relations, brand visibility, and digital marketing.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
• Background working in a Consulting Firm.
• Demonstrated success in managing and expanding client relationships within the healthcare industry, providing valuable strategic advice and thoughtful material creation.
• Knowledge of or a desire to learn about managed care models, healthcare reimbursement, and the regulatory environment.
• Critical thinker with business acumen - eager to understand all aspects of the healthcare business, the dynamics between payors and providers, and the value hospitals bring to communities.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, capable of devising innovative solutions tailored to client goals.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in analyzing data and metrics to inform decision-making.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing client demands and provide recommendations often with limited details.
