Associate Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Successfully manages and retains current customers through proactive daily outreach.

• Cultivates and upholds a comprehensive understanding of the Company’s services, business lines, pricing structures, and offers additional services as suitable for assigned existing customers.

• Executes contractual renewals with existing customers to strengthen relationships and enhance customer profitability when applicable.

• Addresses all cancellation requests in accordance with the established escalation protocol.

• Actively engages with or replies to customers in support of company pricing strategies.

• Employs Salesforce daily, scheduling and documenting all activities such as calls, meetings, and proposals.

• Responsible for collecting customer emails, reducing rate restrictions, and managing customer credits.

• Boosts customer engagement by promoting the full range of Republic Services products.

• Regularly collaborates with the Sales Manager to evaluate weekly customer retention and relationship efforts, progress towards goals, and the status of key customer connections.

• Performs other job-related responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in the waste or transportation industry.

• High school diploma or G.E.D. (Required)

• 0 - 2 years of customer service experience. (Required)
