Associate Account Director, Business Development – Trialmed Early Phase

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Follows and implements the opportunity management process: Assigns RFPs, coordinates strategy calls for RFPs, assists in proposal development, organizes presentation preparations, negotiates, and finalizes contracts.

• Signs new business authorizations at or above the targets set by corporate.

• Conducts cold calls and client visits; logs account activities in the database; keeps track of cold call and client visit metrics.

• Manages client relations and satisfaction within accounts; reports any client dissatisfaction; addresses client concerns promptly; responds immediately to all client management requests.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science or business, or a comparable mix of education and experience.

• Over 2 years of sales experience in the industry, preferably within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or CRO.

• Proven sales experience with a track record of selling proactively, demonstrating urgency and persistence.

• Capability to identify and cultivate sales leads, present capabilities professionally, manage the sales process to closure, and navigate contract negotiations.

• Background in science and/or sales and marketing.
