Assistant Video Editor, Part-time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Assist Video Editors and Producers in crafting refined, professional video content for social media and digital marketing initiatives.

• Organize video footage and offer post-production assistance.

• Prepare visual graphics and enhance audio quality.

• Add captions and deliver the final video content.

• Transform raw footage into captivating, brand-aligned videos.

• Implement feedback and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

• Travel as necessary to film on location.

• Set up and manage camera, lighting, and audio equipment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, including timeline editing, media management, audio synchronization, basic color correction, and export settings.

• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, focusing on motion graphics, text animation, and utilizing existing templates.

• Familiarity with Canva and the capability to use established brand templates.

• Proven experience in producing professional social media videos with clear narratives, intentional pacing, clean graphics, and consistent audio quality.

• Knowledge of platform-specific video formats, aspect ratios, captions, and appropriate text placement within safe viewing areas.

• Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to adhere to creative direction, integrate feedback, and meet deadlines across various projects.

• Strong communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively.

• Willingness to travel for on-location filming, including the setup and operation of camera, lighting, and audio equipment.

• A portfolio or links to video samples showcasing editing, motion graphics, and social media production abilities, including a brief description of contributions for each example.
