Assistant Vice President – Technology, Core Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Full ownership of all applications within the cluster.

• In-depth understanding of all applications in the designated cluster.

• Development of a strategic roadmap for the applications in the cluster.

• Responsible for the successful delivery of projects and URF pertaining to the cluster.

• Ensure the stability of all applications within the cluster.

• Diagnose and resolve critical issues related to applications in the cluster.

• Guarantee that all project milestones are achieved according to the planned schedule, with all projects delivered within the agreed budget and minimal risks.

• Foster appropriate engagement with architecture teams.

• Ensure the implementation of non-functional requirements and the creation and upkeep of relevant documentation.

• Prepare and present root cause analyses of issues to service management.

• Verify that delivered solutions meet business expectations, provide value, and comply with technology standards.

• Manage quality, costs, and schedules for assigned technology projects.

• Execute change management processes for all technology deliverables.

• Optimize technology solution delivery based on business needs, existing applications, current technology trends, total operational costs, scalability, and stability.

• Prioritize regulatory, control, and audit requirements while managing all known risks associated with the team and projects.

• Implement and deliver streamlined technology solutions for all changes in collaboration with Business, Technology operations, Technology Architects, ISG, and vendors.

• Reduce costs on technology deliverables by leveraging existing applications.

• Establish and nurture strong relationships with business partners at all levels.

• Coordinate with all functional teams, TOPS, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth resolution of issues and concerns raised by the business.

• Responsible for the appropriateness of technology solutions delivered to assigned business/support units of the bank.

• Provide and oversee business analysis, solution management, and UAT.

• Implement LEAN practices throughout technology solution delivery.

• Ensure management is consistently updated on all risks, issues, and their statuses.

• Comply with the bank's operational risk policies.

• Engage with personnel effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• 12 to 15 years of professional experience.

• Certification in technology is a plus.
