Assistant Vice President – Technology, Core Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Complete ownership of all applications within the cluster.

• In-depth understanding of all applications in the cluster.

• Development of a strategic roadmap for applications in the cluster.

• Responsible for the delivery of all projects and URF related to the cluster.

• Ensure the stability of all applications within the cluster.

• Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues affecting applications in the cluster.

• Guarantee that all project milestones are achieved within the planned schedule, ensuring projects are completed within the agreed budget and with minimal risks.

• Maintain appropriate engagement with architecture teams.

• Ensure implementation of non-functional requirements and oversee the creation and upkeep of related documentation.

• Conduct root cause analysis of issues and present findings to service management.

• Ensure that delivered solutions meet business expectations, provide value, and comply with technology standards.

• Manage quality, cost, and scheduling of assigned technology projects.

• Implement change management processes for all technology deliverables.

• Optimize technology solution delivery based on business needs, existing applications, current technology trends, total operating costs, scalability, and stability.

• Focus on regulatory, control, and audit requirements while managing known risks related to the team and projects.

• Execute optimized technology delivery for all changes in collaboration with Business, Technology Operations, Technology Architects, ISG, and vendors.

• Reduce costs on technology deliverables by leveraging existing applications.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with business partners at all levels.

• Coordinate with all functional teams, TOPS, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues or concerns raised by the business.

• Ensure the appropriateness of technology solutions delivered to designated business or support units of the bank.

• Provide and support business analysis, solutions, and UAT management.

• Implement LEAN practices in technology solution delivery.

• Keep management informed at all times about risks, issues, and their status.

• Comply with the bank's operational risk policy.

• Engage and motivate people within the team.

• Experience in developing and supporting large, complex systems.

• Familiarity with the latest technology trends relevant to the cluster.

• Strong organizational skills, team-building capabilities, and leadership qualities.

• Experience in managing senior stakeholders.

• 12 to 15 years of relevant experience.

• Technology certification is a plus.
