Assistant Vice President – Core Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Complete ownership of all applications within the cluster.

• In-depth understanding of all applications in the cluster.

• Development of a roadmap for applications in the cluster.

• Responsible for all project deliveries and URF for the cluster.

• Ensure the stability of all applications in the cluster.

• Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues in applications within the cluster.

• Guarantee that all project milestones are met within the planned schedule, with all projects delivered on budget and with minimal risks.

• Ensure appropriate engagement with architecture.

• Verify that non-functional requirements are implemented and that associated documentation is created and maintained.

• Prepare root cause analyses of issues and present findings to service management.

• Ensure that the solutions delivered meet business expectations, provide value, and comply with technology standards.

• Manage quality, cost, and schedule for assigned technology projects.

• Implement a change management process for all technology change deliverables.

• Optimize technology solution delivery based on business needs, existing applications, current technology trends, operating costs, scalability, and stability.

• Focus on regulatory, control, and audit requirements while managing all known risks related to the team and projects.

• Deliver optimized technology solutions for all changes in collaboration with Business, Technology operations, Technology Architects, ISG, and Vendors.

• Reduce costs on technology deliverables by leveraging existing applications.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners at all levels.

• Coordinate with all functional teams, TOPS, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth resolution of business-raised issues or concerns.

• Accountable for the suitability of technology solutions provided to assigned business or support units of the bank.

• Deliver and support business analysis, solution management, and UAT management.

• Implement LEAN practices throughout Technology solution delivery.

• Keep management informed of all risks, issues, and their statuses at all times.

• Adhere to the bank's operational risk policy.

• Engage with team members effectively.

• Knowledge of the Financial Services domain.

• Functional and technological expertise regarding applications within the cluster.

• Experience in developing and supporting large, complex systems.

• Awareness of the latest technology trends relevant to the cluster.

• Experience managing cross-border teams.

• Strong organizational, team-building, and leadership skills.

• Senior stakeholder management experience.

• 12 to 15 years of relevant experience.

• A certification in technology is a plus.
