Assistant Vice President

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance comprehensive client delivery capabilities that encompass data engineering, analytics, BI, AI/ML, and cloud platforms.

• Create scalable delivery frameworks, governance models, and quality standards to oversee scope, milestones, and outcomes across various workstreams.

• Define and implement a capability roadmap by establishing repeatable processes, facilitating performance measurement frameworks, and integrating continuous improvement mechanisms to systematically enhance organizational delivery capabilities.

• Collaborate with technical and consulting teams to design delivery strategies and solution blueprints.

• Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with client business realities.

• Act as the liaison between business objectives and technical execution.

• Foster accountability, uphold performance standards, and promote continuous improvement.

• Serve as the principal client-facing delivery leader.

• Oversee governance forums, status reporting, and executive communications.

• Proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Assist with pre-sales activities, proposals, and solution development by providing delivery and execution insights.

• Contribute to the development of internal playbooks, accelerators, and delivery frameworks.

• Help advance EXL’s delivery excellence and capability depth.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in delivery leadership positions within analytics, data engineering, AI/ML, cloud, or digital transformation sectors.

• Background in consulting, analytics services, or technology services firms.

• Proven experience leading complex, multi-workstream programs for global clients.

• Strong working knowledge of contemporary data platforms, analytics stacks, and cloud architectures.

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical and functional specifications.

• Proficient in handling use cases related to data modernization, advanced analytics, automation, and personalization.

• Expertise in Agile/Hybrid delivery models and program governance.

• In-depth understanding of risk, dependency, and financial management in delivery engagements.

• Exceptional executive-level communication and structured problem-solving skills.

• Experience interacting with senior client stakeholders regarding business value and outcomes.

• Familiarity with Python, SQL, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and modern data architecture.

• Knowledge of BI, ML pipelines, orchestration, and analytics tools.

• Experience working with North America and Europe client environments.

• Exposure to GTM, sales enablement, or internal capability incubation.

• Experience managing delivery financials, resource allocation, and margin management.
