This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee and manage activities related to Letters of Credit (LC), Guarantees, Amendments, Cancellations, Closures, and Claims.
• Ensure adherence to the bank's internal policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) guidelines.
• Authorize transactions within the processing system while maintaining precise records.
• Monitor and evaluate trade finance activities to pinpoint areas for enhancement and streamline processes.
• Collaborate with various business divisions to comprehend their trade finance requirements and offer customized solutions.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices within the trade finance sector.
• Provide direction and support to the operations team to ensure a smooth and effective workflow.
• Escalate and resolve intricate issues or disputes concerning trade finance transactions.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits to verify compliance and identify any potential risks.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in Trade Finance or a comparable position.
• In-depth knowledge of Letters of Credit, Guarantees, and other trade finance products.
• Familiarity with ICC guidelines and international trade practices.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong leadership skills and team management experience.
• Proficient in utilizing trade finance processing systems and software.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to work independently and juggle multiple tasks.
• Eagerness to remain informed about industry advancements and regulations.
