This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Join our Insurance Product Management team to drive GEICO's growth and innovate its product offerings.
• Develop product strategies while making pricing and non-pricing decisions that contribute to profitable growth.
• Oversee state(s) to achieve profitability targets and promote rapid growth.
• Gain an understanding of assigned markets and create specific strategies concerning pricing, product, and underwriting.
• Leverage analytical problem-solving skills to implement and deliver product initiatives.
• Work with subject matter experts and company leaders to introduce changes that improve customer experience.
• Analyze competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
• Evaluate and recommend processes and governance from a nationwide state management perspective.
• Lead the complete lifecycle of departmental and corporate initiatives.
• Represent the company with regulators and consultants, as well as in legal and compliance matters.
• Oversee rate filings through the approval process, ensuring the review and approval of materials for rate reviews, filings, and internal communications.
• Effectively implement product changes while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Previous experience in pricing and/or product analysis or management, with a grasp of fundamental product management concepts.
• At least 5 years of experience in the P&C insurance industry, with an understanding of the current market landscape.
• Familiarity with insurance regulations and associated business constraints.
• Ability to manage state operations with oversight.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual with a sense of curiosity.
• Proven ability to articulate ideas and convey complex information clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong analytical skills with a firm grasp of pricing techniques and insurance operations, including underwriting.
• Excellent planning, organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of data sources, tools, and modeling techniques.
