This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Report directly to the Chief Legal Officer.
• Oversee a team of attorneys and paralegals providing daily legal support for Navitus.
• Offer analysis and guidance on intricate federal and state healthcare regulations.
• Manage corporate licensing and navigate the company through legislative and regulatory developments.
• Collaborate with the Lumicera and Archimedes teams to ensure adherence to applicable laws and ethical business standards.
• Guarantee the effectiveness and efficiency of the Navitus Legal Team in fulfilling organizational requirements.
• Oversee licensing and regulatory compliance processes.
• Provide legal insights on new Navitus initiatives, including contracts and IT systems.
• Revise, review, and authorize policies and procedures related to legal obligations.
• Conduct research and analysis on statutes, judicial rulings, legal articles, contracts, and legal codes.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant state, federal, and local laws and regulations.
• Execute other assigned duties as necessary.
• A Juris Doctorate, LLM, or equivalent degree from an ABA accredited law school is mandatory.
• A degree in Business or Pharmacy is preferred.
• A license to practice law in at least one US state is required.
• A license to practice law in Wisconsin is preferred.
• A minimum of 6 years of legal experience is required.
• Proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
